Hospitality Center In August, 2007, we broke ground on the SE Hospitality Center and plan to open to the public in January of 2009. The SE Hospitality Center Team is committed to providing our guests with a memorable experience, and look forward to your frequent returns.

At Sweely Estate Winery, we are all about good wine, food, art and music, so it’s no surprise that we count among our muses, Dionysus and Bacchus, the Greek and Roman gods for vine, wine and merriment. We couple this with our love and passion for the vistas of Madison County. The vineyards and farms of Virginia bring us unimaginable bounty, and we want you to have a taste of it all. And you will.

In the Tasting Room, you enter a world of fine wine. Sip our fine wines while you take in the breath-taking views from the terrace.  The Tasting Room emphasizes helping our guests discover the characteristics of our wine. Learning about wine is a journey. And the wonderful thing about this journey is that you decide for yourself the depth of knowledge you wish to pursue. Whatever you choose, it is our pleasure to guide you along the way, and most of all, have lots of fun!

The Retail Boutique provides a shopping experience that represents the lifestyles of Virginia Wine Country and Virginia Equestrians.  A destination boutique for gifts and remembrances of your visit.

The Art Gallery will feature a selection of local and national artists, exhibited on gallery-quality systems for hanging and lighting the artwork.  Be sure to register for our email list, so that you can receive invitations to the Art Openings.

The Culinary Center is our professional kitchen where Guest Chefs will conduct cooking demonstrations, food and wine pairings, and culinary classes for small groups.

Events are our specialty. The Vintners Room with its old-world elegance will be the site for many of our winery events, especially when winter sets in.  It opens up onto the Great Lawn, and  with the backdrop of our vineyard and mountain views, sets an enchanting environment of a serene escape for any outdoor celebration. 

The Wine Library and Barrel Room are perfect settings for an elegant and intimate dinner for a small group. 

Private Events can booked into any of our Hospitality Center facilities.  Our hospitality team and event resources will make it all happen for you.
