History
- Ownership of the land dates back to 1726
- Families that owned the land, from the 1700s through the 1900s: Holt, Early, Willis, and Weaver
- An existing barn on the estate is presumed to have been built in the 18th century, but it could have been as late as 1867, as one of the barn's beams has "LXCII" carved into it.
